In 1986 by Jeff Scott, who was looking for a way to advertise his business. After looking at all the other newspapers, magazines and other methods of advertising, he found that they were all too expensive to advertise all the time.

He thought there had to be a better way. After looking into it, he decided to start a newspaper with rates that were affordable enough for businesses to run every month without breaking the bank. He would thereby create a way for him to advertise his business too.

So, the Bargain Hunter was born.

Jeff has been operating Bargain Hunter for over 37 years, and has published more than 2,000 issues in that time. Providing local businesses and organizations with cost effective and reliable advertising.
